What drives your live? What's your motto? What is most important to you? How will you measure your life? This week I had the opportunity to reflect and give answer to those questions. I am originally from El Salvador, and there is a saying that says, “Even food is not good if you are eating it by obligation” We can use the same analogy with life when sometimes people must do certain things everyday because there is bigger obligation or certain responsibilities to accomplish. Why do you wake up every morning? What drives your life? Do you enjoy your job? Or you show up to work because it pays your bills? One important thing I   have learned in life is GROWTH MINDSET. Our type of mindset shapes the way we see the world. Maybe the job you are having now is the the best or it is not your dream job, however, it helps you make a living and gives you the opportunity to become self-sufficient meanwhile you are working on getting more education or shaping your ideas to start your ca...
Hello! Thanks for reading my weekly blog.  This week I had the chance to reflect on the things I will always do and the things I will never do.  It was a good opportunity to me to think back about my life and how I have conducted my life in these 33 years. I have always tried to live every aspect of what I wrote in my assignment and tried to avoid things I will never do.  One of the teachings that I have in my heart and mind, is the teachings of my sister Laura, who passed away due to cancer in 2021, "Never get tired of having a good heart". Havig a good heart and beig a good person always brings good recompenses.  On the other hand, I enjoyed to reply to my classmates in the discussion board. This time, I would like to shared what I replied to Mark, "Mark, thanks for sharing your remarks about Magdalena. I think that sometimes in life we do not get all we want, however the Lord gives s exclacty what we need. I am grateful for the worst job I'va ever had, the o...
Thanks so much for reading my post today! I would like to talk about  Dr. Ranhow dy’s Pauschs’s childhood dream was accomplished by believing in himself. He told himself he wanted to build things at Disneyland. He created a plan and directed his actions towards his dream. Part of the plan consisted in studying something that would help him learn skills that would help him achieve his goal. After many years of sacrifices and experimenting, he was able to accomplish his goal and his dream came true!   Believing in ourselves is fundamental. Every single person needs to find what his calling in life is. This is not an easy task. Finding what is the purpose I life is essential. That is what really bring joy and happiness. Believing in dreams is important. Going back some years ago, I remember a refined lady I met. She was the owner of a very successful school. I was 12 years old, and I remember saying to myself, “I would like to have a school someday.”   As...
September 15th , 2023 Welcome to my Blog!  As part of the career Applied Management,  I started a course called "Introduction to Entrepreneurship",  at Brigham Young University Idaho. I feel grateful for learning new things. I am very excited.  As member of the church of Jesus Christ, learning is a commandment.  This week, one of the things that really got my attention was a video that says that all human beings are Entrepreneurs. I totally agree with this statement because we all need to look for way to take risks in life to make a living.  According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, the word entrepreneur means "one who organizes, manages , and assummes the risk of a business of enterprise" (Source: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/entrepreneur).  I was born an entrepreneur. This is something that really I am passionate about is.  Listening to one of my favorite prophets really touch my heart, specially when he said, "Educate your mi...
